  I have always been active user of social media platforms for the major use of getting update when it comes to political matters in Nigeria. Before or during election, I find all means to get inclined with political matters though I know my physical participation is low but I still try hard to involve on social media, (Karo, Semi-structured Interview, 2021). … I made my political interest known to various political parties on their social media platforms because I follow all the political parties’ activities even when there is no election. (Muhammed, Semi-structured Interview, 2021). As seen by the findings of the topic analysis and critical evaluation, as well as verbatim quotations, there is tremendous interest in utilizing social media to engage in political campaigns during the Nigerian elections using a range of approaches. The use of social media during Nigeria's elections may have an impact on people's willingness to participate in political campaigns.

  In our recent time, many people are interested in participating in the politics during or when election is approaching because social media (Facebook) has made political information easy for everyone. But they do not know that that is not the real political participation because most of the political activities on social media are mere political from oppositions (Kabir, Semi-structured Interview, 2021.  Everyone is aware that Twitter has been banned in Nigeria, and to me the sole reason for this lay on the wrong political participation of Nigeria and the 2023 election is approaching which can result to a more deadly attack if there is more political propaganda via social media, most especially twitter. In election time, Political campaign rarely holds on social media platforms because many of the campaigns by political parties are done in various streets. Even during the recent local government, all campaign was done in our street and we were given various campaign. I do not think this social media political campaign works (Debola, Semi-structured Interview,2021) I am not surprised when you mentioned you said I don’t participant in social media when it comes to participating political campaign on Facebook. I cannot even imagine how camping can be done on social media in Nigerian because our people are used to collecting caps and t-shirt which cannot happen on social media sites (Chude, Semi-structured Interview, 2021).
